Mission
The Southern Sudan Community Association is a non profit organization that started by helping refugees from Southern Sudan. We envision a world where communities welcome all refugees and migrants. We see ourselves as catalysts in the work of building welcoming communities. Our mission is to assist, educate, and empower refugees to become self-sufficent and active members of American society. In addition, we aim to build relationships within, and a cross-cultural understanding between the Omaha and refugee communities.
